Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information when you use CriticalBlogs.
Personal information
- CriticalBlogs asks for your email address when you sign up. Your email address is kept strictly confidential, and the only email you will receive is an account password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access. Any other emails are only sent when there are changes to your blog (e.g. someone comments on your post.) Your email options can be changed on your “Options>E-mail” administration menu so you receive no e-mails at all.
- Also on your “Options>E-mail” administration menu you can choose to display your e-mail address on your blog. This is not advised.
- In addition to publishing your reviews, you may also provide additional profile information, such as a photo, name, occupation, location, etc. and can edit your profile at any time on your profile administration menu. Please note that all the information you enter on your “Profile” administration menu will show up on your blog (except for your e-mail address.)
- CriticalBlogs stores and maintains your account information and copies of your weblog posts and comments, including drafts, in order to provide the service.
- Cookies are used to record session information and to store visitors’ preferences, such as menu placement.
- You can change your account settings, including your profile information, at any time in the administration menus. You can edit, save drafts and remove your weblog posts at any time.
- If you delete your weblog, we will remove all posts from public view.
